The use of turmeric dates back to nearly 4000 years in the Vedic culture in India, where it was used both as a culinary spice and a medicinal herb due to its numerous health benefits. According to Sanskrit medical treatises, Ayurveda and Unani systems, turmeric has a long history of medicinal use in South Asia. Turmeric has been used in food, cosmetics and medicines.
Natural Sweetener
Honey is higher in fructose. Fructose is sweeter than glucose. Use it as a natural sweetener in tea or any beverage, milkshakes, add to breakfast cereals waffles, toast & pancakes.
Improves Immunity
Raw honey when consumed with almond milk or with turmeric, helps in improving the immune system. Mix honey in lukewarm water along with ginger and lime to boost immunity.
