Turmeric has curcumin that helps improve memory by preventing neurodegeneration which makes it important to add turmeric to our daily meals. Turmeric stimulates bile production in the liver to improve digestion.
Turmeric for Skin
Turmeric can be used on the body as it heals the skin from within. 1Tsp of turmeric mixed with curd or honey or besan can be applied on the face or body to get a natural glow. Being rich in glutathione, a natural antioxidant, turmeric slows down premature ageing.
Turmeric for Hair
Turmeric has curcumin that strengthens hair follicles and improves blood circulation. Half a tsp turmeric with 2 tsp of honey (depending on the length of your hair) applied to your hair gives you shiny and stronger hair than before. Applying this mixture at least once a week can give you better results compared to harsh chemical-based products or hair masks available on the market.
